New Experiences

Today the puppies got to experience a hurricane, luckily it was only a Cat1. However, they soon realized they did not like to be outside in it. After the first time poking their heads out the doggy dog, the ceased venturing outside. Since our location was on the “dirty side” of the hurricane, it and the complete storm lasted almost about 10 hours. In my opinion, way too long with now 9 puppies. Once the wind died down, I decided it was time to begin the second round of cleaning. I assume the puppies were tired of being cooped up by their dire persistence to break out. They found every minute flaw in our structure left by Beryl and were successful in escaping their outdoor run to venture the entire backyard 3 times in less than 2 hours. The sheer joy in their success and their entertaining facial expressions as they frolicked and pounced amongst the backyard, was not overlooked by my fear of losing one. They were loving life having the world at their paws. Now the house is silent.
